Looks much better than the original. With I could do the same with my ICOM 718....hmmmmmmm....better take a look inside. :D

Even if the voices on my head aren't real, they do have some pretty good ideas

I have got a yaesu ft-450 and if i needed to take the radio to bits to change the colour of the display i would'nt bother but with the ft 450 you cange the display colour by using the secret menu my display is green at the moment but i might change it red to match the buttons.I might put it on a thread if anyone wants to know how it is done on the ft-450

I posted this up as i think the orange displayed radio's are really bland looking and the Kenwood TS 570 is one of these bland bland looking displayed radio's with no function to change it.

By pressing and holding the following keys while powering on the radio you will gain access to the hidden menu of the Yaesu FT-450.

Press and hold ATT/IPO, NB and AGC buttons at the same time and press the power button and power on radio while still holding in these buttons, and to change the setting you simply use the DSP control (rotary) to select the item you want to change and use the main VFO knob to alter the independant settings of your choice.

(to change the colour of your screen, change the settings of LEDINT1 LEDINT2 and LEDINT3, will do most colours. To exit the hidden menu simply press (F) function key. In some radios the radio might also do a full reset.
